In the ‘Units’ menu you can specify the units in which items can be claimed, such as kilometres and pieces. Under ‘Types’ you configure which unit belongs to which expense claim type.
Adding units
At the top of the units overview, you add new units by clicking the ‘Add’ button. Fill in at least the required fields. When creating the 'Kilometers' unit, you can enable ‘Mileage calculation’. This means that Elari uses Google Maps to calculate the distance from the departure location to the destination when a mileage claim is created. The costs for a mileage claim will also be automatically included. Contact our support department to set a different reimbursement rate per kilometre.
If you set a unit to ‘Passive’, it can no longer be selected when creating an expense claim.
You can edit existing units by clicking the row in the overview or the pencil icon at the end of the row.
